Preparedness Programs for All Ages
In addition to our more formal training programs and incident management products, we also offer fun and effective programs for children, families, youth groups/scout groups, schools and seniors. These programs pack a lot of fun and information into a relatively short time: 60 minutes or less with many under 40 minutes.
"Ready and Willing" programs for youth/scout groups where they will learn how to help themselves and how to assist others in time of crisis. They will build a “go-kit” from materials provided.
"Ready for Anything" programs for seniors where they will make a plan, build an “emergency supply kit” and learn basic survival for severe weather and other threats.
“Family Ready” programs for families where parents and children will learn how to get information, how to make an emergency plan, and how to build a survival kit. All materials are provided. Children in this program will build a basic disaster kit from a disaster scavenger hunt, and more advanced family members learn about how to utilize common materials to make a low cost or no cost family kit.
Ready or Not! programs for schools similar to the “Family Ready” program, but geared specially for children. Children in this program will build a basic disaster kit from a disaster scavenger hunt and will be supplied with materials to bring home to help their families to be “Family Ready”
We also offer workshops for all age groups on:
